Since the beginning of COVID-19, our first priority has been the safety of all our employees and their families, customers, suppliers and society as a whole. To this end, at ITP Aero we have adopted the highest possible level of preventive measures in all our plants in order to ensure a safe workspace.
To date, thanks to the extraordinary prevention work carried out, more than 1,800 ITP Aero employees are working from home, carrying out their daily work normally. In addition, all our worldwide centres are operational, applying the necessary flexibility, cleaning and social distancing measures.
Our second priority has been focused on continuing to meet the various commitments established with our customers. Despite the fact that the aviation industry is suffering the consequences of this pandemic first hand, at ITP Aero we are doing everything in our power to minimize any disruption in the different aviation programmes in which we participate on a global level.
We must not forget that this situation will end. At ITP Aero, as a leading aeronautical engine and components company, we continue to have our long term vision focused on a future in which sustainability will play a fundamental role in our sector. That is why, despite the situation we are going through, we continue to work towards an increasingly sustainable aviation industry, committed to developing proprietary technology and more efficient aeronautical products and services.
Carlos Alzola, CEO of ITP Aero: “The situation created by COVID-19 is new for all of us, but I have no doubt that we will not only get through it, but when we do, we will be stronger as a company and as an industry”.
