More than 120 Basque schoolchildren code with ITP Aero and Code.org in ‘The Hour of Code’
2nd year secondary school students from Basque schools discovered the applications of programming code in the aeronautical sector. Teachers from the Basque educational community have learnt about successful experiences in the inclusion of code in the school curriculum. The Basque Government’s Education Councillor, Jokin Bildarratz, has attended the event This initiative is part of the agreement between ITP Aero and Code.org, a global organisation that promotes the learning of coding among young people.

ITP Aero welcomes EU funding towards sustainable aviation
EU’s Clean Aviation programme to proceed with over €700m of funding for 20 aviation research and innovation programmes. ITP Aero, as a founding member of Clean Aviation, will participate in four projects to develop ground-breaking technologies for hydrogen powered and hybrid-electric aeronautic engines.

ITP Aero receives the Retina ECO award for its turbine for the engines of the future
Carlos Alzola, CEO of ITP Aero, received the award from HM Queen Letizia. The company wins in the category of Intelligent Mobility The jury highlighted ITP Aero's use of 3D printing additive technology to manufacture the Tail Bearing Housing (TBH), one of the main structures of the new sustainable UltraFan engine for Rolls-Royce.
