May 17, 2023ITP Aero brings together the Spanish ecosystem that will participate in the engine pillar of the FCAS
May 18, 2023ITP Aero’s stand includes a modified EJ200 engine with a moving vector nozzle designed for the next generation of fighter jets.
ITP Aero will host an event at its stand on 18 May on the technological developments it is developing for the FCAS propulsion system and the pull effect it generates in the national ecosystem.
ITP Aero will also be present at the FCAS stand as the national leader of the engine pillar.
ITP Aero is taking part in the International Defence and Security Fair (FEINDEF) held in Madrid (Spain), where it is presenting itself as the national leader in aeronautical propulsion, showing its innovative capabilities in defence aero engines, as well as its developments in the FCAS programme and its in-service support activity. The company will showcase its latest technological developments on a stand produced with 100% recyclable materials and zero net emissions.
On Thursday 18 May, ITP Aero will be holding an event at its stand on the technological developments it is undertaking as the leading Spanish company in the engine pillar that will power the new NGF (New Generation Fighter) aircraft. The event will also bring together the main Spanish companies, technology centres and universities that collaborate with ITP Aero and will highlight the driving force it generates in the national ecosystem.
Engines take centre stage at the company’s stand with the exhibition of an EJ200, the engine of the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet, modified with a moving vectoring nozzle designed for the next generation of fighter aircraft. The display of this engine serves as a “tribute” to Spain’s success story in defence engine development. From the EJ200 to the new FCAS engine, via the TP400 and MTR390, engines for the A400M transport aircraft and the Tiger helicopter, respectively, ITP Aero presents itself as a reliable partner for the development of disruptive technology that responds to the needs of Europe’s Defence.
Finally, ITP Aero will also showcase the latest advances in propulsion system support technology for the Spanish Armed Forces, making extensive use of the latest developments in digitalisation and sustainability.
Additionally, ITP Aero will participate in the conferences “Disruptive Technologies for Defence”, “Sustainability in Defence: Challenge and Opportunity” and “Technology and R&D in the Spanish Defence and Security Industry”, on 17, 18 and 19 May respectively.
Álvaro Santodomingo, Executive Director of Defence at ITP Aero: “We are very satisfied with our extensive presence this year at Feindef where we hope to reinforce the concept of Europe of Defence and give a boost to the main projects both nationally and internationally. As a national benchmark in aerospace propulsion and a trusted partner of our Armed Forces, ITP Aero has been able to show at this edition the progress in cutting-edge technology to provide service and maximum value to the Armed Forces, as well as the commitment to the creation of a strong and stable national industrial and technological ecosystem“.
