ITP Aero, first Spanish aeronautical manufacturer to be certified by AENOR in Compliance
May 5, 2022EUROJET signs contract with NETMA to provide 48 new EJ200 engines for the Spanish Air Force
June 23, 2022ITP Aero implements a hybrid model of on-site and remote work
ITP Aero has implemented a hybrid work model whereby office employees, as long as their job position allows it, can work at home for 1 or 2 days per week. This is a voluntary option, with the aim of improving work-life balance.
In addition to working from their usual homes, people who take advantage of this model can also “move” the office to their second home, as long as they can provide their services at their usual workplace if necessary, with at least 24 hours’ notice, and provided that this complies with the criteria established by the company’s Health & Safety department.
ITP Aero provides the necessary IT resources to those who do not have them. Thus, the company provides those who choose to work away from their usual workplace with a laptop computer and a screen.
Flexible working has become an important pillar of ITP Aero’s culture, which seeks to promote trusting environments based on people’s responsibility and commitment. This measure complements ITP Aero’s strategic commitment to flexible working that the company has promoted in recent years.
In short, it is a matter of valuing the multiple advantages offered by being on-site -interaction between the different plants and offices, integration of new members, coordination with different areas…- and, at the same time, proving that new work models are also possible
This step is the result of a process that began in 2021 when an international culture team made up of managers from different ITP Aero centers drew up a hybrid work policy in line with ITP Aero’s value “We care for our people”, and adapted to the company’s industrial environment.
