Update – 4 June 2020
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, the top priority for ITP Aero has been the well-being of all its employees and their families, customers, suppliers and society as a whole.
Number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
ITP Aero has 3 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in employees (with testing) and 5 assimilated cases (people with symptoms compatible with COVID-19, but without diagnosis, who have had the same protocol as for confirmed cases).
Status of production plants
All ITP Aero plants are operational, applying the necessary flexibility as well as the cleaning and spacing measures in place.
Safety in the workplace
ITP Aero has put in place all the necessary protocols and precautions (health, hygiene, cleanliness and distance) – following medical and government guidelines – to make its facilities safe places to work. These include:
- – Distribution of necessary PPE to all workers.
- – Increasing cleaning frequencies.
- – Installation of disinfectant hand wash gel dispensers in rest areas, offices and workshop.
- – Distance measures between workers.
Actions against COVID-19
ITP Aero is carrying out different actions in the fight against COVID-19, among which we can highlight:
- – Donation of masks for the La Paz and Severo Ochoa hospitals in Madrid) and Basurto Hospital in Bilbao.
- – ITP Aero has placed its supercomputing cluster at the disposal of important scientific bodies to facilitate intensive simulations in the fight against COVID-19.
- – Finally, ITP Aero is producing healthcare PPE with 3D printing technology, specifically visors for the CovidEuskadi project.
