BP Aero, a leading provider of engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has obtained new authorization and execution of GE Aerospace’s CF34-10 technical data license. This capability enhances BP Aero’s services portfolio as part of the ITP Aero and reinforces the group’s position for future growth in full engine lifecycle propulsion services.
Obtaining the CF34-10 license & OEM authorization is a strategic move to further enhance BP Aero’s component overhaul and engine repair services portfolio, which already includes aftermarket services for LEAP, CFM56 – 3/5A/5B/5C/7B, CF6 – 80C2, CF34 – 3/8C/8E, F119, F135, GE90, and V2500 – A5/D5 engines.

Furthermore, BP Aero represents ITP Aero’s first footprint in the United States, an important growth area for ITP Aero.
Mike Walsh, Head of BP Aero, commented: “We are excited to have obtained the CF34-10 technical data license. For the last fifteen years we have continued to add engine models and invest in capability to position BP Aero for future growth in the aviation sector. We look forward to supporting our existing customers and working with new CF34-10 customers to offer both solutions and capacity”. GE Aerospace CF34-10 is an advanced 20,000 pound thrust class turbofan propulsion system. It is a member of GE Aerospace’s family of highly successful CF34® commercial jet engines and has been selected to power the new Embraer 190/195 and Lineage 1000.
