March 12, 2018<h4>19 students from the Dual Specialized Professional Training join ITP Aero</h4><p>For the next three years, the students will be trained in one of the four specialized professional training programmes for which ITP Aero has been certified: advanced manufacturing, product life cycle, welding process and non-destructive tests. In order to develop and coordinate the programmes' content, ITP Aero has been supported by the Vice-Ministry of Professional Training of the Basque Government and the Basque Institute of Professional Training.</p>
<p>ITP Aero is participating for the second time in this initiative framed within a collaboration agreement with the Basque Government. The main objective of this public-private project is to adjust the training received by students to the technological job requirements and highly competitive challenges of the industrial sector.</p>
<p>Last year 9 students joined the Zamudio production areas and 10 the castings facilities located in Barakaldo. Currently, all last year's incorporations are still following their training programmme.</p>

<h2 class="tipo1">Specialized training</h2>
<p>The students incorporated today have finished their first year of studies and come from five Professional Training Centers: Politeknika Txorierri, Elorrieta-Erreka Mari, Somorrostro, Nicolas Larburu and Salesianos Deusto. Their training programme will go on for two more years, until the students complete their specialization.</p>
<p>During the onboarding phase, the students will receive complementary training in essential topics like risk prevention, management and quality systems, as well as an introduction to different aspects of ITP Aero's business. During the second year, they will participate in an induction programme about lean manufacturing, production processes and manufacturing technologies. After this second phase, the students will start their specialization phase, which will be extended for the rest of the second year and the whole of the third year, in which they will specialize in one specific area.</p>
<p>Besides this, students will also be trained in other abilities such as problem resolution, attitude towards change, decision making and emotional intelligence.</p>
