The signing of the General Collaboration Protocol was carried out by the Chief of Staff of the Spanish Air Force, Javier Salto Martínez-Avial, and the CEO of ITP Aero, Carlos Alzola, through which the company will participate in the Air Force’s “Connected, Sustainable and Intelligent Air Base” (BACSI) project.
The Air Force has launched the BACSI Project, aimed at increasing the effectiveness, productivity, efficiency and sustainability of air bases. Within the scope of the project, a series of functional areas have been identified, of which those related to Sustainability 4.0 and environmental protection are directly linked to technologies and solutions of interest to both the Air Force and ITP Aero. All of them are aligned with the strategic pillars defined by ITP Aero for the coming years.
