ITP Aero joins the International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG)

IAEG, the forum for a responsible and sustainable aerospace industry, recently held its Fall Technical Meeting in Madrid, with over 200 attendees. During the event, IAEG introduced the new members of the group and held important discussions on key sustainability challenges.

As a new member, ITP Aero participated in these sessions represented by Belen Gonzalez, Head of ESG, and Jaime Fernández Castañeda, Head of Technology Development and Research.
Aware of the importance of sustainability for its stakeholders and its key role in the aerospace industry, ITP Aero has integrated ESG aspects into its corporate strategy.

“At ITP Aero, we are aware of the challenges facing our industry and their impact. We want to be part of the solution and lead by example. To achieve this we need strong partnerships, and joining the International Aerospace Environmental Group (IAEG) is a crucial step in this direction” said Belén González.

IAEG provides a forum for the Aerospace and Defense sector to develop voluntary consensus standards and solutions for environmental regulatory challenges that all member companies face. For over 10 years, IAEG’s member companies have collaborated to tackle climate change, champion chemical stewardship, engage the supply chain and foster environmental sustainability.

By adhering to the IAEG initiative, ITP Aero reaffirms its dedication to sustainable development and industry leadership, benefiting both our organization and the broader aviation community. “It gives us a voice in the development of environmental standards, a platform for industry dialogue, opportunities to lead sustainability initiatives, and to promote a responsible and sustainable aerospace industry,” she concluded.
